🥾 7.5 miles 🥾 Circular 🥾 Leisurely 🥾 Walk Leader: Kate R
This circular walk starts at Howsham Bridge, we'll take the path to the right of river along to Howsham Mill before doubling back and crossing over the bridge picking up the path along the left hand side of the river Derwent. We'll follow the path as it winds it's way along the river all the way up to Kirkham Bridge with a view of the priory on the opposite bank. We'll stop at the priory for lunch and a little explore. After lunch we'll follow the road up hill joining the centenary way, continuing along the road before taking a right turn on to the track to Westow village. Turning right again we follow the road down to Howsham wood following the permissive path through the wood and cutting across the fields to Howsham village. Exiting Howsham village we'll then pick up the path alongside the road back to Howsham Bridge where our walk ends.
🅿️ Free parking is available opposite the entrance to Howsham Hall on the right as you drive over Howsham Bridge.
