A stunning walk through the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Starting from Terrington, we head down to the fishing ponds at Low Mowthorpe Farm before heading to Bulmer. From Bulmer we'll pass through enchanting Brandrith Wood and into the grounds of Castle Howard. We'll stop for lunch nearby the Temple of the Four Winds and then head onto the pretty village of Coneysthorpe. From there we'll walk the last couple of miles back into Terrington.
Expect woodland, farmland and the sweeping grounds of Castle Howard. There are no admission fees required for the section of the grounds of Castle Howard that we are passing through.
